This card will meet and play most demanding AAA games and do so with good graphics setting as standard, and confidently pushing past the recommended game system requirements needed to run today’s games. This card meets game requirements up to DirectX 11.

Here we take a closer look at the various performances across 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions for the GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition. In particular this is looking at the Ultra graphics settings to see what sort of FPS this graphics card can get across some of the more popular games played in 2020. We look at 1000 of the most demanding games available today and this GPU is better than the recommended graphics requirement of more than 757 games in the list.

First we looked at 1080p resolution for the GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition performance to explore what sort of benchmarks it would achieve on the popular title Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and predict it will deliver reasonable frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 154 FPS, Medium: 122 FPS, High: 82 FPS and Ultra: 59 FPS. We proceeded to look at FIFA 21 to see how that compared and saw that it returned a strong 143 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

People are turning their increasingly more powerful graphics cards to the popular 1440p screen size so we tested the GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition to see how it performs on 1440p. First off we have researched Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and predict it will be reasonable. The frame rates predicted for the game presets were - Low: 118 FPS, Medium: 93 FPS, High: 62 FPS and Ultra: 45 FPS. We added FIFA 21 to our tests and saw it was strong with a 109 FPS at Ultra 1440p. And then tested Mafia: Definitive Edition which got 23 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Running games at 1440p with a GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition is a strong choice at these screen resolutions. With Ultra graphics settings being regularly reached at 1440p gaming its easy to consider bumping up the screen size to 4K for this graphics card.

GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature Edition is a special edition of high-end and dual Graphics Geforce GTX 690, modified by EVGA.
The new features include a custom water block and a custom PCB and an overclocking out of the box in the core-clock from 915MHz to 993MHz - which is impressive considering it is a dual graphics solution.
Unfortunately, there are no benchmarks available yet but we believe there's at least a 9% performance boost compared to the reference GPU and that even the most demanding games will run with fluent frame rates even at extreme resolutions.
