Radeon HD 7770 Gigabyte OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon HD 7770 Gigabyte OC Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class Radeon HD 7770. See the standard version for more information about it.
The new features include overclocking out of the box in the central unit that went from 1000MHz to 1100MHz and in the memory clock - once 1125MHz and now 1250MHz. A new quiet and efficient cooling system is also available.
Benchmarks indicate a 7% performance boost when compared to the standard Radeon HD 7770.
Benchmarks indicate that the most demanding games (e.g. Metro 2033) will run at the highest settings but not at extreme resolutions (due to the limited memory size).

Yes, it will reduce lagging by a lot. But you better change your processor, since it will bottleneck the HD 7770.

Yeah performance increase is guaranteed but you may suffer from Video memory lack since CF uses the memory of only one card, which is one GB in your case, and that isn't enough for Crysis 3 maxed on Full HD! Two 7770 should work at least 80% faster than one 7770. Also don't forget to update your drivers and Crossfire profiles, all of that you can find here check site monthly. There is a drop-down list named "drivers" where you need to select GPU series, system, GPU model.

Why does CF only rely on one cards video memory? I mean to me that seems silly that both cards can't utilize their own ram.

How long of a lifespan can I expect out of this card? I just got it for 30 bucks from a friend practically new, but considering the new 8000 cards, I just wanna know how long I've got.

It depends on what do you expect from this card? 1920 x 1080 is too much for this card to play games on max
If you aim for good frames on medium settings this card can help you year or two, 30 bucks is dirty cheap price

I am sorry for my opinion. I thought that he was talking about two HD 7770 cards crossfired versus one GTX 560.
