Overview
GeForce GT 620 is an Entry-Level Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Fermi Architecture.
Architecture
The Fermi Architecture is manufactured with a 40nm technology and uses a technique known as Hot Clocking: The Shaders are clocked twice as fast as the Central Unit. While this leads to a reasonable performance boost, it causes enormous amounts of energy dissipation, leading, ultimately, to a significantly higher operating temperature.
Fermi is also the first GPU architecture with fully cached memory access which increases memory performance.
GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Fermi GF108-100-KB-A1 which has 2 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 96 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 700MHz.
Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 500MHz.
Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for 3D Vision Surround, PhysX, Realtime Raytracing and other technologies.
Cooling Solution
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.
Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 49W, it requires at least a 300W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
Performance
Gaming benchmarks put its performance is somewhat better than Radeon HD 7470.
System Suggestions
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Celeron) and 4GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GT 620.

will it run nba 2k15????
I've got this video card. What games can I run with this video card at 60 or more stable fps with a resolution of 1920x1080 and high settings?
i had to laugh a little while reading that comment, only games it could do are earlier games maybe if your lucky 2005 and games under that year of realease.
This card works for Civ 5 ,Simcity and bf3 on max settings. Still I really want a gtx though.
if your talking about the 730 maybe but the 620 definitly doesnt do that my cousin has that card he plays civ 5 on almost minimum with 2gb of ram and a3.2ghzcpu
lol dude i know its 2 years later but i can play Civ 5 with ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro(256 mb,2 gb ram and 1.6 GHz overclocked on 2.0ghz) on medium and AC4BF on low
i have this, it can run crysis 3 on low at 768p with texture resolution on high, not bad :)
I am thinking about a New rig.i am on a budget so could i pair the Intel Celeron G1610 and This GPU.Will there be any bottleneck and what performance should i expect?
The G1610 can have a much better graphics card than this without bottlenecking. I suggest getting an GT 640, and you will be able to run most games on the market at pleasing performance. If you don't have money for GT 640, you can take the GT 630 and overclock it a little bit, for roughly the same performance.
Can i play mw3 with my PC?
Absolutely.
Yes you can :)
i used this gpu about a month & i think its not bad gpu….
Can I use this gpu with a pentium g620 without bottlenecking it?
its low end gpu mate, so don't afraid even u can get hd 7750 which doesn't bottleneck with ur cpu.good luck mate :)
I recommended this to my cousin is this GPU good?
It's a renamed which was renamed and renamed and renamed…
No, better get at least a Kepler based GPU, not Fermi
Also depends on what kind of games he plays…
you could get a faster middle class like HD7750 instead, but it depends on your cousin budget.
I can run DayZ on high with AA turned off, and 3D resolution turned down to 75%…
This is GT620 not GT640 =.='
