In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 9500M are significantly better than the Nvidia Quadro NVS 130M.

Mini ReviewQuadro NVS 130M is a business card with support for special drivers that are certified for professional applications like Microsoft Office Suite, Hummingbird Exceed, Lotus Notes, etc. It's part of the Quadro NVS Mobile Series released by NVIDIA, in 2006/2007/2010.
Though business cards have no driver support for games, some of them deliver astonishing performance (e.g. Quadro 6000, Tesla C2075). Quadro NVS 130M, however, isn't one of them.
The support for DirectX 10 becomes ridiculous when it comes to gaming because eventhough Quadro NVS 130M is clearly better than the previous models it's still incapable of playing today's games like Crysis 2 and Metro 2033, even at the lowest settings and even older games like Resident Evil 5 that use DirectX 10 are most probably unplayable too.

It had previously been thought that NVIDIA had decided to drop the G and NV nomenclature for a D (for Desktop) nomenclature on their processors. Following the D is the generation number and the target market indicator. NVIDIA's official designations for target markets include Mainstream, Performance, and Enthusiast. For example, the D9E indicates a 9th generation Desktop GeForce video card for the Enthusiast market[1]. However, NVIDIA has actually forked their codenames into those of graphics processors, and those of graphics cards. The GPU cores have kept the prefix 'G' and future versions will include the prefix 'GT'; whereas the actual cards are now codenamed as D, generation number and target market.
