In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia Quadro NVS 130M are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce 8200M G.

The GeForce 8200M G was released over a year more recently than the Quadro NVS 130M, and so the GeForce 8200M G is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Quadro NVS 130M.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The Quadro NVS 130M has 256 MB video memory, but the GeForce 8200M G does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GeForce 8200M G has 8 Shader Processing Units but the Quadro NVS 130M does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Quadro NVS 130M requires 10 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce 8200M G.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewQuadro NVS 130M is a business card with support for special drivers that are certified for professional applications like Microsoft Office Suite, Hummingbird Exceed, Lotus Notes, etc. It's part of the Quadro NVS Mobile Series released by NVIDIA, in 2006/2007/2010.
Though business cards have no driver support for games, some of them deliver astonishing performance (e.g. Quadro 6000, Tesla C2075). Quadro NVS 130M, however, isn't one of them.
The support for DirectX 10 becomes ridiculous when it comes to gaming because eventhough Quadro NVS 130M is clearly better than the previous models it's still incapable of playing today's games like Crysis 2 and Metro 2033, even at the lowest settings and even older games like Resident Evil 5 that use DirectX 10 are most probably unplayable too.
GeForce 8400M GT is an on-board GPU part of the 8000M Series released by NVIDIA, in 2007.
Only less demanding games can be played smoothly.
