In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 320M are significantly better than the Intel HD i7 2670QM.

The HD i7 2670QM was released over a year more recently than the GeForce 320M, and so the HD i7 2670QM is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GeForce 320M.

The HD i7 2670QM and the GeForce 320M have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The GeForce 320M has 10.6 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD i7 2670QM, which means that the memory performance of the GeForce 320M is slightly better than the HD i7 2670QM.

The GeForce 320M has 48 Shader Processing Units but the HD i7 2670QM does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GeForce 320M requires 23 Watts to run but there is no entry for the HD i7 2670QM.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewHD i7 2670QM is a specific version of the Intel HD 3000 Graphics that comes with the CPU 'Intel Core i7-2670QM 4-Core 2.2GHz'. It uses the CPU's Level 3 Cache (up to 6 MB, in this case) + part of the RAM installed on the system up to a maximum of approximately 1.7GB for Vista/7 and 1 GB for XP. The Memory controller supports DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333 and the Turbo Boost technology of the processor can over-clock the graphics card clock from 650MHz to 1100MHz. <r> Nevertheless it's still an integrated GPU with shared memory so its performance is very limited. Still, demanding games like Crysis 2 should still run on the lowest settings.Overview
GeForce 320M is an Integrated Mobile Graphics Card based on the Second Revision of the Tesla Architecture.

Architecture
Tesla was NVIDIA's First Unified Shader Architecture.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Tesla MCP89 which has 4 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 48 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 450MHz.

Memory
The GPU also Shares the System's RAM which varies from laptop to laptop. Typically, the GPU reserves 256MB. Depending on whether or not the system's RAM is Dual-Channeled, it can access either a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface. The operating memory clock also depends on the at which speed the System's RAM is running and is limited by the highest operating speed that the Processor supports. It is then obvious the Memory Bandwidth depends on a lot of factors and thus this Graphics Card performance may vary heavily from system to system.

Features
DirectX 10.1 Support (10.0 Hardware Default) and support for NVIDIA PureVideo HD Technology, Dual-stream Hardware Acceleration, PhysX, CUDA, HybridPower and other technologies.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 14W, it may be used on very small notebooks.

Performance
Gaming benchmarks put its performance considerably above the desktop GeForce 210.
