In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 6800 XT are very slightly better than the Nvidia GeForce 405.

Mini ReviewGeForce 405 (OEM only) is an entry-level Gfx based on the 2009, 40nm, second-generation unified architecture and not in the Fermi architecture, like the rest of the series and is a renamed GeForce 210 (2nd revision).
It's based on the GT218 Core (same used on GeForce 210) and offers 16 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs, on 64-bit memory interface of standard DDR3. The central unit runs at 589MHz and the memory clock operates at 790MHz.
It comes with two variants: one with a frame buffer of 512MB and another with 1GB - both offer the same performance.
GeForce 405 is a renamed GeForce 210, with a lower TDP and so it's only suited for modest 3D games (high settings). Modern demanding games will have to be played at the lowest settings or are unplayable at all. DirectX 11 games aren't supported.
