In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel HD i5 U430 are massively better than the Nvidia GeForce 8200M G.

The HD i5 U430 was released over a year more recently than the GeForce 8200M G, and so the HD i5 U430 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GeForce 8200M G.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The HD i5 U430 and the GeForce 8200M G have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The HD i5 U430 has 12.8 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GeForce 8200M G, which means that the memory performance of the HD i5 U430 is slightly better than the GeForce 8200M G.

The GeForce 8200M G has 8 Shader Processing Units but the HD i5 U430 does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The HD i5 U430 requires 18 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce 8200M G.
