In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel G1 1050MHz are significantly better than the Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M.

The G1 1050MHz was released over three years more recently than the Quadro FX 3700M, and so the G1 1050MHz is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the Quadro FX 3700M when running the latest games.

The Quadro FX 3700M has 1024 MB video memory, but the G1 1050MHz does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The G1 1050MHz has 256 Shader Processing Units and the Quadro FX 3700M has 128. However, the actual shader performance of the G1 1050MHz is 269 and the actual shader performance of the Quadro FX 3700M is 70. The G1 1050MHz having 199 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the Quadro FX 3700M performs better when taking into account other relevant data.

The G1 1050MHz transistor size technology is 55 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Quadro FX 3700M. This means that the G1 1050MHz is expected to run massively cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Quadro FX 3700M.

The G1 1050MHz requires 28 Watts to run and the Quadro FX 3700M requires 75 Watts. The Quadro FX 3700M requires 47 Watts more than the G1 1050MHz to run. The difference is significant enough that the Quadro FX 3700M may have a slight adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the G1 1050MHz.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 1050MHz are integrated graphics in some of Intel's Ice Lake mobile processors. It can be found in Intel Core i5-1035G1 & Intel Core i5-1034G1

The Ice Lake architecture succeeds the Kaby lake architecture and aims for increased CPU and graphics performance.
New Features
These Gen 11 graphics solutions include the new Variable Rate Shading (VRS) support. This lets shading time for object shading in game to be allocated more accurately by the game's developers. So for example, a graphics depicting an object that cannot easily be seen can be marked as not needing such high performance and visual accuracy and thus save processing power. GPU
The central unit initially runs at 300MHz and goes up to 1050MHz, in turbo mode.

Because performance depends heavily on the Memory Bandwidth, it may vary from system to system.
Best case scenario, expect Intel Iris Plus Graphics G1 1050MHz performance to be not as powerful as the older Iris Plus 640 onboard solution, which will reduce potential AAA gaming chances moving forward. We dont recommend this onboard solution for modern gaming.
The Quadro® FX 3700M high-end mobile workstation graphics solution with its revolutionary unified architecture, delivers 1 GB memory, excellent image quality, and optimized visual computing application performance pushing the limits of a 17" mobile workstation. The reference standard for OpenGL 2.1, DirectX 10, and Shader Model 4.0, Quadro FX 3700M enables next generation applications with new levels of interactivity to meet the demands of CAD engineers, graphics designers, and other technical design professionals.
