In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel 645 GT3e are significantly better than the Nvidia Quadro FX 3700M.

The 645 GT3e was released over three years more recently than the Quadro FX 3700M, and so the 645 GT3e is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the Quadro FX 3700M when running the latest games.

The Quadro FX 3700M has 1024 MB video memory, but the 645 GT3e does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The 645 GT3e has 384 Shader Processing Units and the Quadro FX 3700M has 128. However, the actual shader performance of the 645 GT3e is 442 and the actual shader performance of the Quadro FX 3700M is 70. The 645 GT3e having 372 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the Quadro FX 3700M performs better when taking into account other relevant data.

The 645 GT3e transistor size technology is 51 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Quadro FX 3700M. This means that the 645 GT3e is expected to run massively cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Quadro FX 3700M.

The 645 GT3e requires 15 Watts to run and the Quadro FX 3700M requires 75 Watts. The Quadro FX 3700M requires 60 Watts more than the 645 GT3e to run. The difference is significant enough that the Quadro FX 3700M may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the 645 GT3e.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 GT3e are integrated graphics in some of Intel's Kaby Lake mobile processors. It can be found in Intel Core i5-8257U and the Intel Core i5-8557U

The Kaby Lake architecture succeeds the Skylake architecture and aims for increased CPU and graphics performance, via the same power requirements. It includes support for DirectX 12.1, OpenCL 2.1 and OpenGL 4.6.
The central unit initially runs at 300MHz and goes up to 1150MHz, in turbo mode in the Intel Core i5-8557U.

Because Performance depends heavily on the Memory Bandwidth, it may vary heavily from System to System.
Best case scenario, expect performance identical to a dedicated AMd HD 6790.
The Quadro® FX 3700M high-end mobile workstation graphics solution with its revolutionary unified architecture, delivers 1 GB memory, excellent image quality, and optimized visual computing application performance pushing the limits of a 17" mobile workstation. The reference standard for OpenGL 2.1, DirectX 10, and Shader Model 4.0, Quadro FX 3700M enables next generation applications with new levels of interactivity to meet the demands of CAD engineers, graphics designers, and other technical design professionals.
