In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR5 are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra.

The GTX 1650 has a 45 MHz higher core clock speed than the RTX 2060, but the RTX 2060 has 64 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 1650. As a result, the RTX 2060 exhibits a 84.8 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GTX 1650. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 1650 has a 45 MHz higher core clock speed than the RTX 2060, but the RTX 2060 has 15 more Render Output Units than the GTX 1650. As a result, the RTX 2060 exhibits a 19.1 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the GTX 1650. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 1650 was released over a year more recently than the RTX 2060, and so the GTX 1650 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the RTX 2060.

Both GPUs exhibit very powerful performance, so it probably isn't worth upgrading from one to the other, as both are capable of running even the most demanding games at the highest settings.

The GTX 1650 has 1024 MB more video memory than the RTX 2060, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 1650 also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 1650 has 112.3 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the RTX 2060, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 1650 is massively better than the RTX 2060.

The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra has 896 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR5 has 1920. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 1650 is 1425 and the actual shader performance of the RTX 2060 is 3226. The RTX 2060 having 1801 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the RTX 2060 delivers a noticeably smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GTX 1650.

The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra requires 90 Watts to run and the GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR5 requires 150 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 400 Watts for the GTX 1650 and a PSU with at least 450 Watts for the RTX 2060. The RTX 2060 requires 60 Watts more than the GTX 1650 to run. The difference is significant enough that the RTX 2060 may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the GTX 1650.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra is an Nvidia GeForce low-end graphics card which launched in April 2020. The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra is designed to compete against AMD's more affordable gaming cards such as the RX 550 and the RX 560, and replaces the outgoing GTX 1050.
This is a daul-slot graphics card which connects to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface.
Architecture
The Turing Architecture aims for 30-50% as much performance as the previous-gen Pascal Architecture.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Turing T106, more specifically a TU106-125, which has 14 SM activated and thus 896 Shader Processing Units, 56 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1410 MHz and goes up to 1590 MHz with the Boost Clock.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of fast GDDR6, through a 128-bit memory interface, while the memory clock operates at 2000 MHz (8GHz effective).

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 90W, it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.

Performance
The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra will enable low to mid-level graphics performance on modern AAA 2020 released games. Although there will be variations on this frame rate we expect this card to deliver around 50+ FPS on medium graphics settings at a 1080p screen resolution.
Comparatively, this card has slightly faster performance than the GTX 1050 Ti.

System Suggestions
The GeForce GTX 1650 Ultra is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1920x1080, so our recommendation would be to use 1920x1080 in order to get the most out of your settings. We recommend a high-end processor such as the i5-8400 and 8GB of RAM for optimal performance.
Overview GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR5 is a mid-range GeForce 20 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance graphics card based on the Turing architecture. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing technology, or RTX. The GeForce RTX 2060 does support real-time ray-tracing and excels at 1080p screen resolution. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU106 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1365 MHz and goes up to 1680 MHz, in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 3GB frame buffer of slower GDDR5 memory compared to the GDDR6 model, running through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 14GHz effective. The limited video memory available means the RTX 2060 3GB will struggle at 1440p resolution. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 150W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector. System Suggestions GeForce RTX 2060 3GB GDDR5 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1920 x 1080. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
