Mini ReviewOverview GeForce GTX 1650 Mobile is a mid-range GeForce 16 Series graphics card for laptops based on the Turing GPU architecture. It is considered a great price to performance graphics card. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. Unlike the RTX series, the GTX series does not support real-time ray-tracing. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU116, which has 1024 Shader Processing Units, 64 TMUs, 32 ROPs and 16 SMs. The central unit runs at 1395 MHz and goes up to 1560 MHz in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR5 memory through a 128-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1000MHz, or 8GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 50W the GTX 1650 Mobile is averagely resource-intensive and will fairly significantly reduce laptop battery life at full load. GeForce GTX 770M is a Performance Mobile Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Kepler Architecture.

Architecture
The Kepler Architecture was NVIDIA's big step to power efficiency. Each Stream Multiprocessor (SMX) now hosts 192 Shader Processing Units - against the 48 of older Fermi Architecture, and has been redesigned being now clocked at the same speed of the Central Unit. This means they are more energy efficient and will consequently lead to cooler operating temperatures. However, it also means they are weaker. It can be said that one Fermi SMX is as fast as 2 Kepler SMXs.
Additionally, and not available in all GPUs, Kepler also introduced the Boost Clock Feature. The Boost Clock is an even higher Clock Speed activated when in gaming mode and becomes the effective speed of the GPU.

It equips a GPU Codenamed Kepler GK106-N14E-GS-A1 which has 5 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 960 Shader Processing Units, 80 TMUs and 24 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 811MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 3GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 192-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 1002MHz.
