Mini ReviewRadeon HD 6950M is a high-end GPU based on the 40nm Terrascale 2 architecture.
It's based on the Barts Core (therefore related to Radeon HD 6850) and offers 980 Shader Processing Units, 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs on a 256-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. Its central clock runs at 580MHz and the memory clock operates at 900MHz.
Its performance is not exceptionally good due to being heavily underclocked.
Most of today's modern games are playable at the highest settings but some exceptions will require lower resolutions or modest presets to be played optimally.
