In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB.

The GTX 1650 has a 525 MHz higher core clock speed than the RTX 2060, but the RTX 2060 has 64 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 1650. As a result, the RTX 2060 exhibits a 32 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GTX 1650. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 1650 has a 525 MHz higher core clock speed but 15 fewer Render Output Units than the RTX 2060. The lower ROP count doesn't matter, though, as altogether the GTX 1650 manages to provide 2.4 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 1650 was released less than a year after the RTX 2060, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.

Both GPUs exhibit very powerful performance, so it probably isn't worth upgrading from one to the other, as both are capable of running even the most demanding games at the highest settings.

The RTX 2060 has 2048 MB more video memory than the GTX 1650, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the RTX 2060 also has superior memory performance overall.

The RTX 2060 has 159.9 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 1650, which means that the memory performance of the RTX 2060 is massively better than the GTX 1650.

The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB has 896 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile has 1920. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 1650 is 1492 and the actual shader performance of the RTX 2060 is 2304. The RTX 2060 having 812 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the RTX 2060 delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GTX 1650.

The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB requires 75 Watts to run and the GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile requires 90 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the GTX 1650. The RTX 2060 requires 15 Watts more than the GTX 1650 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the RTX 2060 to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the GTX 1650.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
The GeForce GTX 1650 is an Nvidia GeForce low-end graphics card which launched in April 2019. The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB is designed to compete against AMD's more affordable gaming cards such as the RX 550 and the RX 560, and replaces the outgoing GTX 1050.
This is a single-slot graphics card which connects to the rest of the system using a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB features a single-fan cooling system and mini-ITX design. This graphics card has poor overclocking potential. Its small size makes this graphics card an ideal choice for a small form factor (SFF) PC build.
Architecture
The Turing Architecture aims for 30-50% as much performance as the previous-gen Pascal Architecture.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Turing TU117-400, more specifically a TU117-300-A1, which has 14 SM activated and thus 896 Shader Processing Units, 56 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1485 MHz and goes up to 1665 MHz with the Boost Clock, the same speed as the reference model.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface, while the memory clock operates at 2000 MHz (8GHz effective).

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 75W, this graphics card requires a minimum 300W Power Supply Unit (PSU). No external power connectors are necessary as this graphics card is powered entirely through the PCIe 3.0 slot.

Performance
The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB will enable low to mid-level graphics performance on modern AAA 2019 released games. Although there will be variations on this frame rate we expect this card to deliver around 50+ FPS on medium graphics settings at a 1080p screen resolution.
Comparatively, this card has slightly faster performance than the GTX 1050 Ti.

System Suggestions
The GeForce GTX 1650 Palit StormX+ 4GB is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1920x1080, so our recommendation would be to use 19200x1080 in order to get the most out of your settings. We recommend a high-end processor such as the i5-8400 and 8GB of RAM for optimal performance.
Overview GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile is a mid-range GeForce 20 Series graphics card for laptops based on the Turing GPU architecture. It is considered a great price to performance graphics card. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing technology, or RTX. The GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile supports real-time ray-tracing and excels at 1080p screen resolution. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU106 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 960 MHz and goes up to 1200 MHz in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 6GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 14GHz effective. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 80-90W the RTX 2060 Mobile is averagely resource-intensive and will fairly significantly reduce laptop battery life at full load. System Suggestions GeForce RTX 2060 6GB Mobile is best suited for resolutions up to and including 2560x1440. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.
