The GeForce GTX 1660 Colorful iGame Advanced OC 6GB is an entry to mid-level Nvidia graphics card which launched on March 14th, 2019. The GeForce GTX 1660 is designed to compete against AMD's more affordable gaming cards such as the RX 570 and the RX 580, and replaces the outgoing GTX 1060. The GeForce GTX 1660 Colorful iGame Advanced OC 6GB is a dual-slot graphics card with triple fan cooling, reinforced backplate, and RGB logo. This graphics card has above average overclocking potential.

Architecture
The Turing GPU architecture aims for 30-50% as much performance as the previous-gen Pascal Architecture.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Turing TU116, more specifically the TU166-300-A1, which has 22 SM activated and thus 1408 Shader Processing Units, 88 TMUs, and 48 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1530 MHz and goes up to 1875 MHz with the Boost Clock, an overclock of 5% compared to the reference model.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 6GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5 through a 192-bit memory interface, while the memory clock Operates at 2001MHz, or 8GHz effective.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 120W, this graphics card requires one 8-pin power connector.

Performance
The GeForce GTX 1660 will enable medium to high graphics performance on modern AAA 2018 released games. Although there will be variations on this frame rate we expect this card to deliver around 50+ FPS on High graphics settings at 1080p screen resolution.

GeForce GTX 680 is a high-end Graphics Card based on the 28nm, Kepler architecture.
The Kepler architecture allows more SPUs but the Fermi SPUs (used on the 400 & 500 Series) are clocked twice as fast as the Kepler architecture. Therefore, don't let the large amount of Pipelines fool you, as the 1536 Pipelines are equivalent to 768 Pipelines, of the Fermi architecture.
GeForce GTX 680 features a 1006Mhz core-clock that can automatically set itself to 1058Mhz using a technology similar to the one used on Intel GPUs. Another huge surprise is the TDP that went from 244 Watts, to just 195 Watts, as two SPUs of the Kepler architecture consume 10% less power. However, the amount was doubled and so the power save is not as high as it could have been.
GeForce GTX 680 was the fastest single GPU of the world until Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition was released.
All games will run on the maximum settings smoothly.
