Mini ReviewOverview The GeForce RTX 2080 MSI Gaming X Trio 8GB is a High-End Graphics Card based on the Turing Architecture and is suitable for 1440p or 4K gaming. This is a dual-slot graphics card with triple-fan Torx 3.o fan cooling, Tri-Frozr thermal design, RGB Mystic Light, Zero Frozr, and double ball bearings for silent gaming. This video card has good overclocking potential. Architecture It equips a Turing GPU Codenamed TU104. More specifically, it uses the TU104-400A-A1 variant which means factor overclocks are permitted. This is a First Gen Turing GPU and has 20 SM activated, offering 2944 Shader Processing Units, 184 TMUs, and 64 ROPs. The Turing architecture provides the world's first consumer support for real-time ray-tracing (RTX) technology. It also has 368 Tensor Cores for AI purposes. GPU The central unit runs at 1515MHz and goes up to 1860MHz in Turbo Mode, providing a 9% overclock compared to the reference specs and 3% faster clock speeds than the Founders Edition.
