In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE are massively better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6.

The GTX 2060 has a 940 MHz higher core clock speed and 119 more Texture Mapping Units than the GeForce 6150 LE. This results in the GTX 2060 providing 163.4 GTexel/s better texturing performance. Neither of these GPUs support DirectX 10 or higher, so Texture Rate holds more weight than when comparing more modern GPUs.

The GTX 2060 has a 940 MHz higher core clock speed and 46 more Render Output Units than the GeForce 6150 LE. This results in the GTX 2060 providing 63.8 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 2060 was released over three years more recently than the GeForce 6150 LE, and so the GTX 2060 is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the GeForce 6150 LE when running the latest games.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The GTX 2060 has 3072 MB video memory, but the GeForce 6150 LE does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 has 1920 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce 6150 LE has 2. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 2060 is 3226 and the actual shader performance of the GeForce 6150 LE is 1. The GTX 2060 having 3225 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 2060 delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GeForce 6150 LE.

The GTX 2060 transistor size technology is 78 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GeForce 6150 LE. This means that the GTX 2060 is expected to run massively cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GeForce 6150 LE. While they exhibit similar graphical performance, the GTX 2060 should consume less power than the GeForce 6150 LE.

The GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 requires 150 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce 6150 LE. We would recommend a PSU with at least 450 Watts for the GTX 2060.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 is a mid-range GeForce 20 Series graphics card and considered a great price to performance graphics card based on the Turing architecture. Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. Unlike the RTX series, the GTX series does not support real-time ray-tracing. The GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 excels at 1080p screen resolution. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU106 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1365 MHz and goes up to 1680 MHz, in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 3GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory running through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 14GHz effective. The limited video memory available means the RTX 2060 3GB will struggle at 1440p resolution. Power Consumption With a rated board TDP of 150W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with an 8-pin power connector. System Suggestions GeForce GTX 2060 3GB GDDR6 is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1920 x 1080. We recommend a mid-range Processor and at least 16GB of RAM for optimal performance.Weak integrated graphics. None of today's modern games will run smoothly.
