Architecture The Turing architecture represents a process shrink down to 12nm compared to 14nm Pascal. Unlike the RTX series, the GTX series does not support real-time ray-tracing. The GeForce GTX 2060 4GB GDDR6 excels at 1080p screen resolution. GPU It equips a Turing GPU codenamed TU106 which has 1920 Shader Processing Units, 120 TMUs and 47 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1365 MHz and goes up to 1680 MHz, in Boost mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of first-gen GDDR6 memory running through a 192-bit memory interface, while the Memory clock operates at 1500MHz, or 14GHz effective.
