In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS are noticeably better than the Nvidia Quadro FX 380M.

Very demanding games (e.g. Metro 2033, The Witcher 2) are most certainly unplayable and demanding games (e.g. Crysis 2, Skyrim V) might only be playable on the lowest settings. Moderate and less demanding games, like Call of Duty: Black Ops, should be playable smoothly at Medium settings.
