Overclock: Central Unit
The Central Unit is now of 1032MHz, instead of 1020MHz, while the Boost Clock achieves 1111MHz, instead of 1085MHz.

Frame Buffer
The Frame Buffer was Halved to 1GB. This will become a serious problem if attempting to use GeForce GTX 750 Ti for 1080p Gaming and in games that require large amounts of Video Memory for Texturing Purposes.
Still, the Performance Decrease by Halving the Frame Buffer is Practically unnoticeable in most gaming scenarios, since the GPU itself is the main bottleneck.

Overview
Radeon HD 8740 (OEM) is an OEM Only, Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

Architecture
The GCN Architecture succeeds the 40nm Terascale Architecture. In addition to being produced with a 28nm Technology, the GCN Architecture adds other Technologies that allow for energy efficiency. For example, ZeroCore Power, a long idle power saving technology, allows the Graphics Cards to shut down by itself when the Monitor is turned off.
GCN also adds Improved Anisotropic Filtering, DirectX 11 Tessellation and the Partially Resident Textures (PRT) Technology, which enables future games to utilize ultra-high resolution textures with the same performance as today's small and often repetitive textures.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed Cape Verde PRO which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 512 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 800MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1125MHz.
