In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon R6 7300 are very slightly better than the AMD Radeon R5 M335 2GB.

The R5 M335 has a 537 MHz higher core clock speed but 4 fewer Texture Mapping Units than the Radeon R6 7300. The lower TMU count doesn't matter, though, as altogether the R5 M335 manages to provide 8.6 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The R5 M335 has a 537 MHz higher core clock speed than the Radeon R6 7300 and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the R5 M335 providing 4.3 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The R5 M335 was released over a year more recently than the Radeon R6 7300, and so the R5 M335 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Radeon R6 7300.

The R5 M335 has 2048 MB video memory, but the Radeon R6 7300 does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Radeon R5 M335 2GB has 320 Shader Processing Units and the Radeon R6 7300 has 384. However, the actual shader performance of the R5 M335 is 291 and the actual shader performance of the Radeon R6 7300 is 133. The R5 M335 having 158 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the Radeon R6 7300 performs better when taking into account other relevant data.

The Radeon R5 M335 2GB requires 25 Watts to run and the Radeon R6 7300 requires 20 Watts. The R5 M335 requires 5 Watts more than the Radeon R6 7300 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the R5 M335 to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the Radeon R6 7300.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
Radeon R5 M335 2GB is an Entry-Level Mobile Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture.

Radeon R5 M335 2GB Equips the GPU Codenamed Exo XT which is a GCN 1.1 GPU and thus offers Support for Feature Level DirectX 11.2 and the TrueAudio Technology.
Exo XT has 5 Compute Units Activated and thus offers 320 Shader Processing Units, 20 TMUs and 8 ROPs.

The central unit runs at 1070MHz.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with DDR3 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 64-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1100MHz.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 2GB.

The Performance of Radeon R5 M335 2GB is only Very Slightly above the Radeon R5 M330 2GB.

System Suggestions
We recommend a Middle-Class Processor and 4GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.
Radeon R6 7300 is an integrated Graphics Card in the APU A10-7300.

It is based on the Graphics Core Next Architecture and offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. While the central unit is set at 533MHz, the memory bus-width will depend on whether or not the system's RAM is dual-channeled and the operating memory clock, on its frequency. Thus, it can be either 64-bit or 128-bit and up to 800MHz.
The Graphics Card also shares the processor's L2 Cache of 4MB. Therefore, it reduces the need to resort to its memory bandwidth.

Overall, the Graphics Card's performance depends a lot on the system configuration. Best case scenario, expect performance superior to a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M or an AMD Radeon R5 M230.
The card is thus suited for 720p gaming and some modern demanding games can be played at least on medium settings.
