In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the HD 5670 and the HD i7 6700K are equal.

The HD 5670 has a 425 MHz higher core clock speed and 4 more Texture Mapping Units than the HD i7 6700K. This results in the HD 5670 providing 9.9 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The HD 5670 has a 425 MHz higher core clock speed than the HD i7 6700K and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the HD 5670 providing 3.4 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The HD i7 6700K was released over three years more recently than the HD 5670, and so the HD i7 6700K is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the HD 5670 when running the latest games.

The HD 5670 has 1024 MB video memory, but the HD i7 6700K does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Radeon HD 5670 Asus 1GB Edition has 400 Shader Processing Units and the HD i7 6700K has 24. However, the actual shader performance of the HD 5670 is 155 and the actual shader performance of the HD i7 6700K is 221. The HD i7 6700K having 66 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the HD 5670 performs better when taking into account other relevant data.

The HD i7 6700K transistor size technology is 26 nm (nanometers) smaller than the HD 5670. This means that the HD i7 6700K is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the HD 5670. While they exhibit similar graphical performance, the HD i7 6700K should consume less power than the HD 5670.

The Radeon HD 5670 Asus 1GB Edition requires 64 Watts to run and the HD i7 6700K requires 91 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 400 Watts for the HD 5670 and a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the HD i7 6700K. The HD i7 6700K requires 27 Watts more than the HD 5670 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the HD i7 6700K to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the HD 5670.

Benchmarks indicate no performance over the reference Radeon HD 5670.
Intel HD i7 6700K is the specific version of Intel HD Graphics 530 Desktop that is integrated in the Core i7-6700K Processor.

The Skylake Core includes support for DirectX 12.1, OpenCL 2.0 and OpenGL 4.4. Additionally, it also supports DDR4 Memory.

It equips a GPU Codenamed GT2 which offers 24 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit Initially Runs at 350MHz and goes up to 1150MHz, in Turbo Mode.

The GPU Shares the System's RAM which varies from laptop to laptop. Typically, the GPU reserves 1.7GB. Depending on whether or not the system's RAM is Dual-Channeled, it can access either a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface. The operating memory clock also depends on the at which speed the System's RAM is running and is limited by the highest operating speed that the Processor supports. In this case, it is 1067MHz.
It is then obvious the Memory Bandwidth depends on a lot of factors and thus this Graphics Card performance may vary heavily from system to system.

Gaming benchmarks put its performance almost on level with a dedicated GeForce 920M.

System Suggestions
Intel HD i7 6700K is best suited for resolutions up to and including 1366x768. We recommend a Decent Processor and 4GB of RAM for Optimal Performance.
