Architecture
Radeon R9 M360 4GB Features a GPU Codenamed ???? PRO which is a First Gen GCN GPU and is identical to the Cape Verde PRO GPU used on the Desktop Radeon HD 7750.
???? PRO has 8 Compute Units Unlocked and thus offers 512 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs.

GPU
The Central Unit is Clocked at 900MHz and goes up to 925MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with fast GDDR5 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 128-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1125MHz.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 4GB. Under most circumstances, this only proves useful in certain 3D Games whose Settings Require Large Amounts of Memory.
However, because the GPU itself is too weak to work under other circumstances in which 4GB of Memory are needed - such as 4K Gaming, a Large Frame Buffer is mostly a Gimmick.

GeForce 840M 2GB is a Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Maxwell architecture.

Architecture
The Maxwell architecture features many improvements and among them is the extremely large L2 Cache which allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.

It equips a GPU codenamed GM108 which has 3 SM activated and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The central unit runs at 1029MHz and goes up to 1124MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 64-bit memory interface. The Frame Buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The memory clock operates at 1001MHz.
