Radeon R9 M385 4GB is a Performance Mobile Graphics Card based on the Second Generation of the Graphics Core Next Architecture (GCN).

Radeon R9 M385 4GB Features a GPU Codenamed Saturn PRO which is a Second Gen GCN GPU and is identical to the Bonaire XT GPU used on the Desktop Radeon R7 260X.
Saturn XT has 14 Compute Units Unlocked and thus offers 896 Shader Processing Units, 56 TMUs and 16 ROPs.

The Central Unit is Clocked at 900MHz and goes up to 1000MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with fast GDDR5 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 128-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1375MHz.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 4GB. Under most circumstances, this only proves useful in certain 3D Games whose Settings Require Large Amounts of Memory.
However, because the GPU itself is too weak to work under other circumstances in which 4GB of Memory are needed - such as 4K Gaming, a Large Frame Buffer is mostly a Gimmick.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 75W, it is suited for large laptops.

GeForce GTX 950M 2GB is a Performance Mobile Graphics Card based on the first variant of the Maxwell architecture.

The first variant of the Maxwell Architecture succeeds the Kepler Architecture. Despite being also manufactured with a 28nm technology, it has an extremely large L2 Cache which allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.

It equips a GPU codenamed GM107-N16P-GT which has 5 SM activated and thus offers 640 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The central unit runs at 914MHz and goes up to 993MHz, in Turbo Mode.

The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 1253MHz. The size of the frame buffer is adequate.

DirectX 12 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX and other technologies.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 50W, it may be equipped in average sized notebooks.

Because GeForce GTX 950M 2GB is just a higher clocked GeForce GTX 850M v2 2GB, its performance is only about 5% faster than its predecessors and so GeForce GTX 860M 2GB is still faster.
Still, it still offers decent gaming at 1920x1080 and most modern games should run fluently at high settings.
