Radeon R9 M390 4GB is a High-End Mobile Graphics Card based on the Second Generation of the Graphics Core Next Architecture (GCN).

Architecture
Radeon R9 M390 4GB Features a GPU Codenamed Neptune XT which is a Second Gen GCN GPU and is identical to the Curacao XT GPU used on the Desktop Radeon R9 270X.
Neptune XT has 20 Compute Units Unlocked and thus offers 1280 Shader Processing Units, 80 TMUs and 32 ROPs.

The Central Unit is Clocked at 850MHz and goes up to 900MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with fast GDDR5 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 256-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1200MHz.

Memory: Frame Buffer
The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 4GB. Under most circumstances, this only proves useful in certain 3D Games whose Settings Require Large Amounts of Memory.

Overview
GeForce GTX 950M 2GB is a Performance Mobile Graphics Card based on the first variant of the Maxwell architecture.

Architecture
The first variant of the Maxwell Architecture succeeds the Kepler Architecture. Despite being also manufactured with a 28nm technology, it has an extremely large L2 Cache which allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.

It equips a GPU codenamed GM107-N16P-GT which has 5 SM activated and thus offers 640 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The central unit runs at 914MHz and goes up to 993MHz, in Turbo Mode.

The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 1253MHz. The size of the frame buffer is adequate.
