In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M SLI are massively better than the AMD Radeon HD 8610G + HD 8670M Dual.

The GTX 675M has a 87 MHz higher core clock speed and 80 more Texture Mapping Units than the HD 8610G. This results in the GTX 675M providing 53.8 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 675M has a 87 MHz higher core clock speed and 48 more Render Output Units than the HD 8610G. This results in the GTX 675M providing 31.2 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The HD 8610G was released over a year more recently than the GTX 675M, and so the HD 8610G is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 675M.

The GTX 675M has 2048 MB more video memory than the HD 8610G, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 675M also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 675M has 170.7 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD 8610G, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 675M is massively better than the HD 8610G.

Both the Radeon HD 8610G + HD 8670M Dual and the GeForce GTX 675M SLI have 768 Shader Processing Units. While the two GPUs have the same number of SPUs, the actual performance delivered by the GTX 675M is 952 and by the HD 8610G is 952. Knowing that the shader performance of the GTX 675M is superior, it is not necessary to examine the GPUs' respective Texture and Pixel Fill Rates.

The HD 8610G transistor size technology is 8 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GTX 675M. This means that the HD 8610G is expected to run very slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GTX 675M.

The GeForce GTX 675M SLI requires 200 Watts to run but there is no entry for the HD 8610G.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewCombination of Radeon HD 8610G with Radeon HD 8670M, using AMD's Asymmetric Crossfire Technology. GeForce GTX 675M SLI is a solution of two GeForce GTX 675M put together using NVIDIA'S SLI technology.
Check the page of GeForce GTX 675M to know more about its chip.
As usual, SLI relies a lot on proper driver support and may suffer from micro-stuttering in lower frame rates (below 30). Benchmarks indicate the performance is overall, about 35% better than a single GeForce GTX 675M performing by itself but at times (depending whether or not the 3D game supports SLI or in the graphics driver) it performed worse than a single GeForce GTX 675M.
Even the most demanding games will run at the highest settings.
