Overclock: Central Unit
The Central Unit now runs at 1228MHz, instead of 1126MHz. Boost Clock is now of 1329MHz, instead of 1216MHz.

Overclock: Memory Clock
The Operating Memory Clock was increased to 1800MHz while the Frame Buffer remain the same.

Cooling Solution
The reference NVIDIA Single-Fan Cooling System has been replaced by PNY's Dual Fan Cooling Solution. This means the card runs cooler under load.

Performance
Benchmarks indicate a 9% performance over the reference GeForce GTX 980 4GB.
Overview
Radeon HD 8950 (OEM) is an OEM Only, High-End Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

Architecture
The GCN 1.1 revision of the Graphics Core Next Architecture adds new important technologies and is largely oriented for energy efficiency. New technologies such as PowerTune and TrueAudio are the biggest additions as well as DirectX 11.2 support.

It equips a GPU Codenamed Tahiti PRO2 which has 28 Compute Units activated and thus offers 1792 Shader Processing Units, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 850MHz and goes up to 925MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 3GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 384-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 1250MHz.
