In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce 920M 2GB are massively better than the Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 512MB DDR2.

The GeForce 920M 2GB was released over three years more recently than the Go 7600, and so the GeForce 920M 2GB is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the Go 7600 when running the latest games.

The GeForce 920M 2GB has 1536 MB more video memory than the Go 7600, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GeForce 920M 2GB also has superior memory performance overall.

The GeForce 920M 2GB has 2.2 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Go 7600, which means that the memory performance of the GeForce 920M 2GB is marginally better than the Go 7600.

The GeForce 920M 2GB has 384 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce Go 7600 512MB DDR2 has 8. However, the actual shader performance of the GeForce 920M 2GB is 366 and the actual shader performance of the Go 7600 is 4. The GeForce 920M 2GB having 362 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GeForce 920M 2GB delivers a noticeably smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Go 7600.

The GeForce 920M 2GB requires 25 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce Go 7600 512MB DDR2.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
GeForce 920M 2GB is an Entry-Level Mobile Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Kepler Architecture.

Architecture
This Graphics Card Equips the Kepler GK208 GPU which is essentially a power optimized version of the GK107 GPU. Whereas it still has a count of 2 Stream Multiprocessors, the bus-width has been cut in half to allow for even a smaller power consumption and consequently a cooler operating temperature.
Additionally, the GK208 GPU allows the Central Unit to reach a significant higher frequency, thanks to the Kepler Boost 2.0 Technology. The better the laptop's cooling system, the higher the frequency.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed GK208-N16V-GM which has 2 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 16 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit is Initially clocked at 575MHz and goes up to 954MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 64-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU. The Memory Clock Operates at 900MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 25W, it is suited for small laptops.

Performance
GeForce 920M 2GB is essentially a slightly faster GeForce GT 735M and offers more or less comparable performance.

System Suggestions
We recommend a Modest Processor and 4GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GT 920M 2GB.
GeForce Go 7600 512MB DDR2 is one of the variants of GeForce Go 7600.
Compared to the GeForce Go 7600, the bandwidth is much lower due to the fact it's paired with slow DDR2.
