Radeon HD 6790 is a Performance GPU part of the Southern Islands 40nm family. This card, based on the Barts LE core features 800 Shader Processing Units, 40 Texture Units and 16 ROPs on fast GDDR5 256-bit Memory interface. It was launched with the purpose of filling the gap between HD 6770 and the HD 6850, and offers good performance for the price. It's suited for Resolutions below 1080p, nevertheless it will perform up to Medium settings on demanding titles on FUll HD, and will require reduced Aliasing for Crysis 3 and other Modern demanding games.
