Performance
Without any overclocking out of the box, Radeon HD 5850 MSI Twin Frozr II 1GB Edition is as fast as the reference Radeon HD 5850.
GeForce GT 740 v2 EVGA FTW 1GB Edition is a special edition of the middle-class GeForce GT 740 v2.
This edition comes with a custom cooling solution which will not yield any performance boost, as GeForce GT 740 v2 does not benefit from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 993MHz to 1202MHz, while the memory clock was left untouched.
Benchmarks indicate an extreme performance boost of up to 14% making it almost 10% faster than a GeForce GTX 650.
