In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon HD 8370D are noticeably better than the Intel HD i5 655K.

The Radeon HD 8370D was released over three years more recently than the HD i5 655K, and so the Radeon HD 8370D is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the HD i5 655K when running the latest games.

The HD i5 655K and the Radeon HD 8370D have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The Radeon HD 8370D has 23.4 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD i5 655K, which means that the memory performance of the Radeon HD 8370D is slightly better than the HD i5 655K.

The Radeon HD 8370D has 128 Shader Processing Units but the HD i5 655K does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The HD i5 655K requires 73 Watts to run and the Radeon HD 8370D requires 65 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 450 Watts for the Radeon HD 8370D, but we do not have a recommended PSU wattage for the HD i5 655K. The HD i5 655K requires 8 Watts more than the Radeon HD 8370D to run. The difference is not significant enough for the HD i5 655K to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the Radeon HD 8370D.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewN/ARadeon HD 8370D is an embedded Graphics Card on the low end Richland APUs like the A4-6300, A4-6320
They offer 128 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The memory interface depends on whether or not the system's RAM is dual channelled.
While the central unit runs at 760MHz, since the GFX doesn't have dedicated memory, the bandwidth will depend on the system ram speed which can be up to 2133MHz (the max speed supported by the CPU). Therefore, the max boost clock is 844MHz.
Th graphical performance is not top end by todays integrated graphics standards
