Mini ReviewQuadro K4200 is a high-end professional card based on the 28nm, Kepler architecture.

It's based on the Kepler GK107 and offers 1344 Shader Processing Units, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs, on a 256-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at 706MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 1350MHz. It has a L2 Cache of 512KB and a rated board TDP of 108 Watts.

Quadro K4200's drivers are certified for professional applications only. Its gaming performance is around 10% slower than GeForce GTX 660.
Radeon HD 8740 (OEM) is an OEM Only, Fast-Middle-Class Graphics Card based on the First Revision of the Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture.

The GCN Architecture succeeds the 40nm Terascale Architecture. In addition to being produced with a 28nm Technology, the GCN Architecture adds other Technologies that allow for energy efficiency. For example, ZeroCore Power, a long idle power saving technology, allows the Graphics Cards to shut down by itself when the Monitor is turned off.
GCN also adds Improved Anisotropic Filtering, DirectX 11 Tessellation and the Partially Resident Textures (PRT) Technology, which enables future games to utilize ultra-high resolution textures with the same performance as today's small and often repetitive textures.

It equips a GPU Codenamed Cape Verde PRO which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 512 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 800MHz.

The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1125MHz.

With a rated board TDP of 55W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.
