In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon R6 7300 are significantly better than the Nvidia Quadro FX 1700M.

The Radeon R6 7300 was released over three years more recently than the Quadro FX 1700M, and so the Radeon R6 7300 is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the Quadro FX 1700M when running the latest games.

The Quadro FX 1700M has 512 MB video memory, but the Radeon R6 7300 does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Radeon R6 7300 has 384 Shader Processing Units but the Quadro FX 1700M does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Radeon R6 7300 requires 20 Watts to run and the Quadro FX 1700M requires 50 Watts. The Quadro FX 1700M requires 30 Watts more than the Radeon R6 7300 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the Quadro FX 1700M to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the Radeon R6 7300.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewRadeon R6 7300 is an integrated Graphics Card in the APU A10-7300.

It is based on the Graphics Core Next Architecture and offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. While the central unit is set at 533MHz, the memory bus-width will depend on whether or not the system's RAM is dual-channeled and the operating memory clock, on its frequency. Thus, it can be either 64-bit or 128-bit and up to 800MHz.
The Graphics Card also shares the processor's L2 Cache of 4MB. Therefore, it reduces the need to resort to its memory bandwidth.

Overall, the Graphics Card's performance depends a lot on the system configuration. Best case scenario, expect performance superior to a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M or an AMD Radeon R5 M230.
The card is thus suited for 720p gaming and some modern demanding games can be played at least on medium settings.
The Quadro® FX 1700M mid-range mobile workstation graphics solution with its revolutionary unified architecture, delivers 512MB of memory, exceptional image quality, and highly optimized visual computing application performance that pushes the performance limits of a 15.4” mobile workstation. The reference standard for OpenGL 2.1, DirectX 10, and Shader Model 4.0, Quadro FX 1700M enables next generation applications with new levels of interactivity to meet the demands of CAD engineers, graphics designers, and other technical design professionals.
