In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon HD 8670M are marginally better than the AMD Radeon R6 7300.

The Radeon HD 8670M has a 242 MHz higher core clock speed and the same number of Texture Mapping Units as the Radeon R6 7300. This results in the Radeon HD 8670M providing 5.8 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The Radeon HD 8670M has a 242 MHz higher core clock speed than the Radeon R6 7300 and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the Radeon HD 8670M providing 1.9 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The Radeon R6 7300 was released over a year more recently than the Radeon HD 8670M, and so the Radeon R6 7300 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Radeon HD 8670M.

The Radeon HD 8670M has 1024 MB video memory, but the Radeon R6 7300 does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

Both the Radeon R6 7300 and the Radeon HD 8670M have 384 Shader Processing Units. While the two GPUs have the same number of SPUs, the actual performance delivered by the Radeon HD 8670M is 269 and by the Radeon R6 7300 is 269. Knowing that the shader performance of the Radeon HD 8670M is superior, it is not necessary to examine the GPUs' respective Texture and Pixel Fill Rates.

The Radeon R6 7300 requires 20 Watts to run but there is no entry for the Radeon HD 8670M.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewRadeon R6 7300 is an integrated Graphics Card in the APU A10-7300.

It is based on the Graphics Core Next Architecture and offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. While the central unit is set at 533MHz, the memory bus-width will depend on whether or not the system's RAM is dual-channeled and the operating memory clock, on its frequency. Thus, it can be either 64-bit or 128-bit and up to 800MHz.
The Graphics Card also shares the processor's L2 Cache of 4MB. Therefore, it reduces the need to resort to its memory bandwidth.

Overall, the Graphics Card's performance depends a lot on the system configuration. Best case scenario, expect performance superior to a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M or an AMD Radeon R5 M230.
The card is thus suited for 720p gaming and some modern demanding games can be played at least on medium settings.
Radeon HD 8670M is a middle-class Graphics Card based on the GCN architecture.
It features the Mars XT GPU and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The central unit can be initially clocked at up to 775MHz reach up to 825MHz in Turbo Mode while the memory interface is of 64-bit of standard DDR3.
It can be addressed as a fast Radeon HD 8550M due to its considerably higher core-clock speed.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is somewhat above NVIDIA's GeForce GT 630M and thus the card can run most modern games at medium games.
