In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Gigabyte OC 4GB Edition are marginally better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti DirectCU TOP Edition.

The GTX 650 has a 135 MHz higher core clock speed and the same number of Texture Mapping Units as the GTX 550 Ti. This results in the GTX 650 providing 4.3 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 650 Gigabyte OC 2GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 650.
This special edition comes overclocked out of the box to 1110MHz and features a custom-designed 10 cm cooler. It also features a 4GB frame buffer but it's known extra memory does not benefit this GPU in any way and so that feature is useless.
Benchmarks indicate a 4% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this GPU is suitable for medium to high settings on most demanding games but not with extreme resolutions.
GeForce GTX 550 Ti DirectCU TOP Edition is a special edition of the GeForce GTX 550 Ti. See the page of the standard version for more information.
The features include better cooling and an increase on the core-clock from 900MHz to 975MHz.
Benchmarks indicate the performance is 4.5% better when compared to the reference card.
Some modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution but the largest part will have to be played with a 720p resolution to be played optimally.
This Graphics Card needs to be paired with a decent Quad Core CPU.
