Mini ReviewGeForce GT 740 v2 Asus OC 2GB Edition is a special edition of the middle-class GeForce GT 740 v2.
This edition comes with a custom cooling solution which will not yield any performance boost, as GeForce GT 740 v2 does not benefit from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 993MHz to 1033MHz, while the memory clock was left untouched.
Furthermore, the frame buffer was doubled to 2GB though this will not boost its performance and can be addressed as a gimmick - marketing to lure consumers into paying more for the same product.
Benchmarks indicate a slight performance boost of up to 2% making it almost 1% faster than a GeForce GTX 650.
Radeon HD 7750 VTX3D 1GB DDR3 Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR3.
This version has no new features (when compared to the DDR3 version) and so it performs exactly like it.
