In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 are marginally better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Palit StormX OC 1GB Edition.

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 750 Palit StormX OC 1GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750.
This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1085MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1163MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was increased to 1275MHz.
Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is around 6% better than the reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 and thus this card is slightly faster than Radeon R7 260X.
GeForce GTX 470 is a high-end GPU based on the 40nm Fermi architecture.
It's based on the Fermi GF100 Core and offers 480 Shader Processing Units, 56 TMUs and 40 ROPs. The central unit runs at 607MHz and the memory clock operates at 837MHz.
Compared to GeForce GTX 480, it delivers considerably worse performance due to the lower SPU count and lower clocked central unit and therefore also lower Shaders speed.
Most modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution. However, some will require reduced settings to be played optimally.
