In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon HD 8370D are noticeably better than the Intel HD Xeon E3-1235.

The Radeon HD 8370D was released over a year more recently than the HD Xeon E3-1235, and so the Radeon HD 8370D is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the HD Xeon E3-1235.

The Radeon HD 8370D and the HD Xeon E3-1235 have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The Radeon HD 8370D has 12.8 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD Xeon E3-1235, which means that the memory performance of the Radeon HD 8370D is slightly better than the HD Xeon E3-1235.

The Radeon HD 8370D has 128 Shader Processing Units and the HD Xeon E3-1235 has 12. However, the actual shader performance of the Radeon HD 8370D is 54 and the actual shader performance of the HD Xeon E3-1235 is 32. The Radeon HD 8370D having 22 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the Radeon HD 8370D delivers a slightly smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the HD Xeon E3-1235.

The Radeon HD 8370D requires 65 Watts to run but there is no entry for the HD Xeon E3-1235. We would recommend a PSU with at least 450 Watts for the Radeon HD 8370D.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewRadeon HD 8370D is an embedded Graphics Card on the low end Richland APUs like the A4-6300, A4-6320
They offer 128 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. The memory interface depends on whether or not the system's RAM is dual channelled.
While the central unit runs at 760MHz, since the GFX doesn't have dedicated memory, the bandwidth will depend on the system ram speed which can be up to 2133MHz (the max speed supported by the CPU). Therefore, the max boost clock is 844MHz.
Th graphical performance is not top end by todays integrated graphics standards
HD Xeon E3-1235 is a specific version of the Intel HD P3000 Graphics that comes with the CPU 'Intel Xeon E3-1235'.
Based on the Sandy Bridge architecture, it also features 12 Shader Processing Units, supports openGL up to 3.1, Shader up to 4.0 and DirectX 10.1. Just like other integrated GPUs, it uses system memory and the max memory supported is DDR3-1333, meaning the max memory speed is 667MHz. The CPUs only supports up to dual-channel memory, meaning a 128 bits bus is the largest bus width supported. It comes clocked at 850MHz but the Turbo Boost of the CPU can set it up to 1350MHz.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is on level with an entry-level NVIDIA GeForce GT 410M.
