In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) are massively better than the AMD Radeon HD 7770 2GB GHz Edition.

The HD 7770 has a 85 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 760 Ti, but the GTX 760 Ti has 72 more Texture Mapping Units than the HD 7770. As a result, the GTX 760 Ti exhibits a 62.5 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the HD 7770. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The HD 7770 has a 85 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 760 Ti, but the GTX 760 Ti has 16 more Render Output Units than the HD 7770. As a result, the GTX 760 Ti exhibits a 13.3 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the HD 7770. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 760 Ti was released over a year more recently than the HD 7770, and so the GTX 760 Ti is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the HD 7770.

The GeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) and the Radeon HD 7770 2GB GHz Edition have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The GTX 760 Ti has 120.3 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD 7770, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 760 Ti is massively better than the HD 7770.

The GeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) has 1344 Shader Processing Units and the Radeon HD 7770 2GB GHz Edition has 640. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 760 Ti is 1317 and the actual shader performance of the HD 7770 is 544. The GTX 760 Ti having 773 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 760 Ti delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the HD 7770.

The GeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) requires 170 Watts to run and the Radeon HD 7770 2GB GHz Edition requires 80 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 500 Watts for the GTX 760 Ti and a PSU with at least 500 Watts for the HD 7770. The GTX 760 Ti requires 90 Watts more than the HD 7770 to run. The difference is significant enough that the GTX 760 Ti may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the HD 7770.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 760 Ti (OEM) is an OEM only high-end Graphics Card based on the Kepler GK104 (325-A2 Variant) core of the Kepler Architecture.
The 325-A2 Variant of the Kepler GK104 Core offers 1344 Shader Processing Units, 112 TMUs and 32 ROPs, on a 256-bit memory interface. While the central unit runs at 915MHz and goes up to 980MHz, in Turbo Mode, the memory clock operates at 1502MHz.
It's therefore a renamed GeForce GTX 670 and will offer exactly the same performance.
Radeon HD 7770 2GB GHz Edition is a variant of the Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition aka just Radeon HD 7770.
The only difference between this version and the original is the increase in the video memory that was doubled from 1GB to 2GB.
It's proved that extra memory for this GPU does not yield extra performance. Therefore, this GPU's performance is exactly like the standards.
