In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 SLI are noticeably better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Asus Edition.

The GTX 770 has a 209 MHz higher core clock speed and 32 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX Titan. This results in the GTX 770 providing 80.3 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 770 has a 209 MHz higher core clock speed and 16 more Render Output Units than the GTX Titan. This results in the GTX 770 providing 26.7 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 770 was released less than a year after the GTX Titan, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.

Both GPUs exhibit very powerful performance, so it probably isn't worth upgrading from one to the other, as both are capable of running even the most demanding games at the highest settings.

The GTX Titan has 2048 MB more video memory than the GTX 770, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. However, overall, the GTX 770 has superior memory performance.

The GTX 770 has 160.1 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX Titan, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 770 is massively better than the GTX Titan.

The GeForce GTX 770 SLI has 3072 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX Titan Asus Edition has 2688. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 770 is 3333 and the actual shader performance of the GTX Titan is 2355. The GTX 770 having 978 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 770 delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GTX Titan.

The GeForce GTX 770 SLI requires 400 Watts to run and the GeForce GTX Titan Asus Edition requires 250 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 750 Watts for the GTX 770 and a PSU with at least 600 Watts for the GTX Titan. The GTX 770 requires 150 Watts more than the GTX Titan to run. The difference is significant enough that the GTX 770 may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the GTX Titan.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 770 SLI is a combination of 2 GeForce GTX 770 put together using NVIDIA's SLI technology.
Together, this combination offers 3072 Shader Processing Units, 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs. This, on a 256-bit memory interface, per card, of fast GDDR5. While the central unit runs at 1046MHz and goes up to 1085MHz, in Turbo Mode, the memory clock operates at 1752MHz.
Best case scenario, this combination performs better than dual-graphics GeForce GTX 690 but ultimately, its performance depends on the driver support and on the 3D application.
Therefore, and paired with a powerful processor, all demanding games are playable at the highest settings. Still, this combination might surpass the 450W barrier of TDP and so it will require a very powerful PSU.
GeForce GTX Titan Asus Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX Titan. Check its page to know more about its Core.
This edition has no special features - no overclocking out of the box and no custom cooling system.
Therefore, its performance is exactly like the reference GeForce GTX Titan.
