In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia Quadro FX 560 are significantly better than the Intel G43 Express Chipset.

The G43 Express Chipset was released over a year more recently than the Quadro FX 560, and so the G43 Express Chipset is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Quadro FX 560.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The Quadro FX 560 has 128 MB video memory, but the G43 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Quadro FX 560 has 12 Shader Processing Units but the G43 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The Quadro FX 560 requires 30 Watts to run and the G43 Express Chipset requires 24 Watts. The Quadro FX 560 requires 6 Watts more than the G43 Express Chipset to run. The difference is not significant enough for the Quadro FX 560 to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the G43 Express Chipset.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewQuadro FX 560 is a professional Graphics Card with driver support for professional applications.
It's based on the G73 architecture (GL Core) and offers 12 Pixel Shaders, on a 128-bit memory interface of GDDR3.
It's related to desktop GeForce 7600 GT but should offer performance similar (though worse) to GeForce 7600 GS, due to the similarities.
Intel G43 Express Chipset comes embedded on the Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo CPUS and features an Integrated GPU called Intel GMA X4500.
Due to its characteristics (e.g. Shared Memory) the performance is very limited but might be enough to play today's games at low settings excluding, however, very demanding games like Metro 2033 or The Witcher II, that are unplayable, even at the lowest settings.
