In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M SLI are massively better than the Nvidia Quadro FX 3800M.

The GTX 675M was released over a year more recently than the Quadro FX 3800M, and so the GTX 675M is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Quadro FX 3800M.

The GTX 675M has 3072 MB more video memory than the Quadro FX 3800M, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 675M also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 675M has 128 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Quadro FX 3800M, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 675M is massively better than the Quadro FX 3800M.

The GeForce GTX 675M SLI has 768 Shader Processing Units and the Quadro FX 3800M has 128. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 675M is 952 and the actual shader performance of the Quadro FX 3800M is 86. The GTX 675M having 866 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 675M delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Quadro FX 3800M.

The GTX 675M transistor size technology is 25 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Quadro FX 3800M. This means that the GTX 675M is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Quadro FX 3800M.

The GeForce GTX 675M SLI requires 200 Watts to run and the Quadro FX 3800M requires 100 Watts. The GTX 675M requires 100 Watts more than the Quadro FX 3800M to run. The difference is significant enough that the GTX 675M may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the Quadro FX 3800M.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 675M SLI is a solution of two GeForce GTX 675M put together using NVIDIA'S SLI technology.
Check the page of GeForce GTX 675M to know more about its chip.
As usual, SLI relies a lot on proper driver support and may suffer from micro-stuttering in lower frame rates (below 30). Benchmarks indicate the performance is overall, about 35% better than a single GeForce GTX 675M performing by itself but at times (depending whether or not the 3D game supports SLI or in the graphics driver) it performed worse than a single GeForce GTX 675M.
Even the most demanding games will run at the highest settings.
The no-compromise NVIDIA® Quadro® FX 3800M professional mobile graphics solution, featuring the NVIDIA® CUDA™ architecture, 30-bit color accuracy, and certification for the most demanding CAD, Oil & Gas, and content creation applications, provides a full-featured, ultimate performance experience for users on the go.
