In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M SLI are massively better than the AMD Radeon HD 8770M.

The Radeon HD 8770M has a 155 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 675M, but the GTX 675M has 104 more Texture Mapping Units than the Radeon HD 8770M. As a result, the GTX 675M exhibits a 60.8 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the Radeon HD 8770M. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The Radeon HD 8770M has a 155 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 675M, but the GTX 675M has 56 more Render Output Units than the Radeon HD 8770M. As a result, the GTX 675M exhibits a 33.5 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the Radeon HD 8770M. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The Radeon HD 8770M was released over a year more recently than the GTX 675M, and so the Radeon HD 8770M is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 675M.

The GTX 675M has 2048 MB more video memory than the Radeon HD 8770M, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 675M also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 675M has 120 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Radeon HD 8770M, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 675M is massively better than the Radeon HD 8770M.

The GeForce GTX 675M SLI has 768 Shader Processing Units and the Radeon HD 8770M has 384. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 675M is 952 and the actual shader performance of the Radeon HD 8770M is 269. The GTX 675M having 683 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 675M delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Radeon HD 8770M.

The Radeon HD 8770M transistor size technology is 12 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GTX 675M. This means that the Radeon HD 8770M is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GTX 675M.

The GeForce GTX 675M SLI requires 200 Watts to run and the Radeon HD 8770M requires 20 Watts. The GTX 675M requires 180 Watts more than the Radeon HD 8770M to run. The difference is significant enough that the GTX 675M may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the Radeon HD 8770M.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 675M SLI is a solution of two GeForce GTX 675M put together using NVIDIA'S SLI technology.
Check the page of GeForce GTX 675M to know more about its chip.
As usual, SLI relies a lot on proper driver support and may suffer from micro-stuttering in lower frame rates (below 30). Benchmarks indicate the performance is overall, about 35% better than a single GeForce GTX 675M performing by itself but at times (depending whether or not the 3D game supports SLI or in the graphics driver) it performed worse than a single GeForce GTX 675M.
Even the most demanding games will run at the highest settings.
Overview
Radeon HD 8770M is a Fast-Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the Second Revision of the GCN Architecture.

Architecture
The GCN 1.1 Release adds support for AMD's TrueAudio Technology which does calculations of audio effects "better" than the CPU and further improves the Powertune Technology.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Mars XT which has 6 Compute Units activated and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs. The Central Unit Initially Operates at 775MHz and goes up to 825MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The memory clock operates at 1125MHz.

Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, PowerTune Technology, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, HD3D, ZeroCore Power and other technologies.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 20W, it is suited for 13" or larger laptops.

Performance
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhat above NVIDIA's GeForce GT 645M.

System Suggestions
We recommend a Decent Processor (Intel Core i5 Mobile) and 8GB of RAM for a system with Radeon HD 8770M.
