In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel G43 Express Chipset are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3.

The 6150 SE was released over a year more recently than the G43 Express Chipset, and so the 6150 SE is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the G43 Express Chipset.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The GeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3 and the G43 Express Chipset have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The 6150 SE has 8.5 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the G43 Express Chipset, which means that the memory performance of the 6150 SE is marginally better than the G43 Express Chipset.

The 6150 SE has 2 Shader Processing Units but the G43 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The G43 Express Chipset requires 24 Watts to run but there is no entry for the 6150 SE.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3 is a specific version of the GeForce 6150 SE that comes with the motherboard ECS MCP61M-M3, instead of the nForce 430.
This is a custom added GPU for a specific member but please note the bus width can be up to 128-bit, if dual channel memory is used and the memory clock can be up to 667MHz, if using DDR3-1333.
The performance is overall superior than the reference GPU thanks to the extra bandwidth but still very limited due to the limited processing/shading power.
Intel G43 Express Chipset comes embedded on the Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo CPUS and features an Integrated GPU called Intel GMA X4500.
Due to its characteristics (e.g. Shared Memory) the performance is very limited but might be enough to play today's games at low settings excluding, however, very demanding games like Metro 2033 or The Witcher II, that are unplayable, even at the lowest settings.
