In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel Q43 Express Chipset are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3.

The 6150 SE was released over a year more recently than the Q43 Express Chipset, and so the 6150 SE is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the Q43 Express Chipset.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The GeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3 and the Q43 Express Chipset have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The 6150 SE has 8.5 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Q43 Express Chipset, which means that the memory performance of the 6150 SE is marginally better than the Q43 Express Chipset.

The 6150 SE has 2 Shader Processing Units but the Q43 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce 6150 SE / nForce 430 64MB DDR3 is a specific version of the GeForce 6150 SE that comes with the motherboard ECS MCP61M-M3, instead of the nForce 430.
This is a custom added GPU for a specific member but please note the bus width can be up to 128-bit, if dual channel memory is used and the memory clock can be up to 667MHz, if using DDR3-1333.
The performance is overall superior than the reference GPU thanks to the extra bandwidth but still very limited due to the limited processing/shading power.
Intel Q43 Express Chipset comes embedded on the Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo CPUS and features an Integrated GPU called Intel GMA X4500.
Various Intel Chipsets come with the Intel GMA X4500 but this one (and the Q45) seem to deliver the best performance. However, due to its characteristics (e.g. Shared Memory) the performance is still very limited but might be enough to play today's games at low or medium settings excluding, however, very demanding games like Metro 2033 or The Witcher II, that are probably unplayable, even at the lowest settings.
Note 1: Intel GMA X4500 does support DirectX 10 but even the most forgiving games might be unplayable due to the demand level.
