In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce4 Go 460 are significantly better than the Intel GM965 Express Chipset.

The GM965 Express Chipset was released over three years more recently than the GeForce4 Go 460, and so the GM965 Express Chipset is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the GeForce4 Go 460 when running the latest games.

Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.

The GeForce4 Go 460 has 64 MB video memory, but the GM965 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GeForce4 Go 460 has 2 Shader Processing Units but the GM965 Express Chipset does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GM965 Express Chipset requires 14 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce4 Go 460.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewIntel GM965 Express Chipset comes with most Core 2 Duo Mobile and with an integrated GMA X3100. Its performance is horrible and not recommended to any of today's games.GeForce4 Go 460 is a fast-middle-class GPU part of the GeForce4 Go Series released by in 2002.
It's based on the architecture "NV17M", same used on the entry-class desktop GeForce4 Series.
The performance is very limited, so today's games are unplayable.
