In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon HD 6950 are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti WindForce Edition.

Benchmarks indicate a 4.5% performance boost when compared to the reference card..
Some modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution but the largest part will have to be played with a 720p resolution to be played optimally.
This Graphics Card needs to be paired with a decent Quad Core CPU.
Radeon HD 6950 is a fast high-end card made in 40nm fabrification process. It is based on 40nm architecture and Cayman Pro core, featuring 1408 Shaders, 88 texture units and 32 ROPs paired with fast 2GB GDDR5 video memory working on 1250MHz, and core clock running at 800MHz. 2GB VRAM tied up with 256-bit bus ensures latest games to be playable on ultra without AA on 1080p, except Crysis 3 which requires lowering settings to be played on high.
