In Sword of the Stars 2, gamers will be reaquainted with the original six races from Swords of the Stars I and its expansions as well as reveal the dark secret of the original series, the Suul’ka – an ancient race that is responsible for tampering with the Liir, Zuul, and other races in the SotS universe!
Not limited to another entire new race and their unique drive technology, SotS2 will be a major step forward in the SotS approach to 4X gameplay, taking the easy-to-learn-hard-to-master philosophy set out in SotS1 and following that path to a new standard in space strategy games.

Your PC will need a graphics card thats as powerful as a GeForce GTX 280/Radeon HD 4890 and it should be paired with either a Athlon II X4 615e/Core i5-661 3.33GHz CPU to match the Sword of the Stars 2 recommended system specs. This PC setup will deliver 60 Frames Per Second on High graphics settings on 1080p monitor resolution. 6 GB will also be needed to achieve the Sword of the Stars 2 rec specs and get 60FPS. You should also have 2 GB system memory for min specs. We suggest a 12 year old PC to play smoothly.

6gb is for recommeneded - to run the game with all the fireworks, full scale battles and all the other fun things!
You just need 2gb to run it tho.
