Choosing A Graphics Card For Our 1080p F1 2021 PC Build

Our challenge is not overpaying for hardware we dont need, but making sure we get enough performance from our system that we can play F1 2021 at 1080p ultra settings. Reviewing all the prices today our choice for best graphics card for this title points us squarely at the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB. It is capable of delivering suitable frame rates at ultra 1080p. Exploring the price trends for this card shows us it has increased its price by $10.62 over the past two weeks, so perhaps there is still deals that can be found on this card. Out of interest our lowest price tracked on this graphics card was on 19th Dec 2019 where we saw it for $297.52. With a price of $308.14 today its certainly very competitive, considering the performance this gpu can return.

Our ideal build will need to come with either 6GB of VRAM or more than. This is used by the computer to store image data quickly as it passes image information from GPU to CPU. Our selected Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB comes with 8GB of VRAM which should cover image transfer for F1 2021 at this resolution.

Selecting The Right F1 2021 1080p Motherboard and CPU

GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 motherboard is today’s best buy mobo, that also provides us with the Socket AM4 cpu socket type. Which is ideal for the best performance to price processor we have seen for our build, the Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz. This processor is currently priced at a competitive $199.99 and really works well with the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB. A good reference point is, a low price for this processor was spotted on 7th Jul 2020 where we saw it for $56.98.

At $59.99 the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 motherboard muscles its feature rich chipboard into today’s F1 2021 PC build. To offer motherboard pricing insight we spotted this being sold for a low price of $51.88, which was recorded at 18th Feb 2021.

An Alternative F1 2021 Graphics Card Option for 1080p

Not everyone is interested in going with a AMD card, like the one we have opted for in this build. So you could try going for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Gigabyte Windforce OC 6GB instead, which comes with a 5% worse performance adjustment when compared to Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB, and is certainly a solid video card choice for our build. We selected it while also considering its current price point, it is costing $299.99 at the moment.
