Here we will create the best priced PC build to run The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, where it will meet the demands that a game like this will put on a custom PC. Our view is to answer the question, what PC should I buy that can play The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians really well, and for the best possible price today? We will therefore be aiming to run this game confidently each time with ultra settings selected, getting its visuals from a 1440p resolution monitor screen. These hardware items found in our build will continue to have their prices checked and components will be swapped in and out as we feel better hardware for our build is released.
Today we find The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians is not in our top demanding games list and currently not figuring in our more popular games lists of today. It also falls in under the RPG, Strategy game genre types, which itself can influence some of our choices of hardware today, to make sure we better meet the hardware needs of the game. This sort of information will help us build a fuller picture and better understand what to select when putting our best build PC together for the game. Interestingly, it might be worth thinking about the performance of the hardware that the game was originally built on, which would have been from 2015 and shortly before. So the devs themselves may have been aiming for hardware with performance capability from this particular period.

When selecting the right graphics card today we are specifically hunting for great price-to-performance gpus that can run The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians in ultra 1440p. Right now the best graphics card purchase for this game is the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB, which will work really well at this screen resolution. It’s currently priced at $308.14, which puts it as one of the cheapest but best performers for this type of game. GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 motherboard is today’s best buy mobo, that also provides us with the Socket AM4 cpu socket type. Which is ideal for the best performance to price processor we have seen for our build, the Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz. This processor is currently priced at a competitive $199.99 and really works well with the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB. A good reference point is, a low price for this processor was spotted on 7th Jul 2020 where we saw it for $56.98.
Having the competitive price tag of $54.99, the GIGABYTE GA-A320M mATX AM4 motherboard’s strong price point today helps it stay in this The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians PC build. A low price point for this motherboard would be $53.99, which we recorded it at on 25th Jun 2020.
One of the more significant hardware components in this The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians build is the RAM. We are choosing some complementary and well priced OLOy 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 2400MHz. It is currently priced at $50.99. While among the best priced system memory for this build it will still provide us with the ability to reach our desired FPS for the 1440p ultra setting, that we have been focusing on with this PC. The cheapest system memory price for OLOy 16GB (1x16GB) DDR4 2400MHz was recorded as $47.89, and this was on 7th Jan 2020.
Our PC build can run The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians at High graphics settings comfortably, returning a 1440p FPS of 155 and we would expect an average of 111 FPS on Ultra with the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB, Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core 3.6GHz combo we have put into this computer.
If this 1440p build was to run The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians at 4k Ultra, by increasing its screen size, then the FPS it would return on High would be around an average of 93 FPS. At Ultra we expect the average to be 66.
Ensuring our PC build for The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians runs some of the more popular games of today competently at 1440p is also something worth considering. Looking at FIFA 21 we see this pc build is likely to get 181FPS on Ultra and 200+FPS on High graphics settings. In contrast we can expect Assassins Creed: Valhalla to return 51FPS on Ultra and 71FPS when lowered to High. Another popular game at the moment is Genshin Impact, which is 56 FPS running at Ultra, and 78 on High graphics settings.
We opted for this higher quality gaming mouse, Cooler Master MM710, because it would cater to the RPG, Strategy genre type that The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians sits in. This is still the best priced mouse we had in our lists today, just a better quality peripheral than we might normally consider.
If you are wanting a graphics choice from the other team then our suggestion would be the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Gigabyte Windforce OC 6GB video card, currently priced at $299.99. This option has a performance of 5% worse when compared to the Radeon RX 5700 Sapphire 8GB and completely capable of offering a good gpu alternative.
